The Regulation Council of the wine appellation Ribera del Júcar has once again entrusted the organization of trade missions in the Northern Countries Finland, Norway and Sweden, countries that are characterized by the distribution of wine through state owned retail shops.

These trade missions are part of a project that Proodevo develops together with the Ribera del Jucar’s Regulation Council in order to promote and ensure the presence of this region’s excellent wines on those markets.

The project is divided into several phases and includes among others informative presentations and tastings of the new wines of Ribera del Júcar with representatives of the Scandinavian wine trade; wine buyers at the monopolies Alko, Vinmonopolet and Systembolaget and a selection of wine journalists and importers.

In addition, the Regulation Council wagers on education where Proodevo Consulting, experts on the subject, will impart seminars on the Scandinavian wine market to the wineries in order to inform and give directions to the wine makers about how to best sell wine in these markets.
